Last weekend we did an engagement shoot for our good friends Whitney and Patrick.  They only got engaged about a month ago but they wanted photos early to use as an announcement to all of their friends and family out of state.  We were lucky that they live on Lake Orlando which made for some nice scenery.

We started out in the park by the swings which was a nice way to get everyone having a good time.

 Did I mention that they brought their Saint Bernard/Collie mix, Kya.  I think here she is contemplating whether she should pose for this picture or go hunt for that stick we just took away from her.

Luckily they weren’t afraid to be affectionate around the photographers.

I thought this photo had a fairytale quality to it that any bride would like… you only get to be princess for a day once.

Kya decided to lay in the mud under this little bridge.  We soon realized she wouldn’t be in anymore pics unless she got hosed down.

They let her get into the pond to wash herself off and play a little …

While Kya splashed around Mom and Dad took some more shots.

Whitney and Patrick changed into some more comfortable clothes and we went over to Baldwin Park for a few more choice shots.  This couple honestly was easy to shoot.  They are so beautiful and were so happy with each other.
