How would you describe your approach to photography? We definitely have gravitated towards a more contemporary photo-journalistic style of photography preferring to put the couple in their natural element and document the reactions and moments that take place. We like lots of color, great light, and relaxed, fun shots. Urban is always good with us as long as it fits the couples personality. However, we have had experience with the traditional aspect of photography and lighting portraiture, and can accommodate any formal photographs you would like to have.
Where are you located? We are located in the downtown Orlando area, but are very flexible on commuting to anywhere in the Central Florida area or beyond if necessary.
Do you shoot in both black and white and color? We shoot with Canon Digital SLR cameras and therefore in post production have the ability to develop both black and white and color for any digital image. We could work with any preference you may have.
Do you take unlimited photos and color correct all of them and put all of them on the cd or dvd? Yes, we take unlimited photos during the engagement sessions and weddings. Color correction is a large part of our process and typically takes a few weeks after the photoshoot. We do not color correct all photos, but will select the best from each scene to color correct. We place all the photos on a password protected website for online viewing and if there is a photo you would like color corrected that we did not choose, we would be happy to handle that request. We provide you with a CD/DVD with high resolution color corrected photos as well as all archived photos as a finished product.
Would we be given all copyright privileges to print the photos ourselves? Yes, you will be given all copyright privileges in reference to printing the photos yourself.
What are the prices for your albums? Albums come in all shapes, sizes, formats and price ranges. If you tell us your preferences and what you would like in an album we would be happy to give you a cost estimate. If you are not sure what you want yet, we can provide a few examples.
Would we also get a cd from the engagement session? Yes, we provide a CD/DVD with all high resolution color corrected photos as a finished product from the engagement session.
How does the engagement session work? Typically we meet up at a location you are comfortable with and we have plenty of suggestions for locations if you are not sure. Then we spend a couple of hours just hanging out, shooting a ton of photos, and getting know one another. After the session we coordinate any necessary wedding details. Then we take about four weeks (sometimes less) to color correct and retouch around 20 to 30 of the absolute best photos. I think we shoot like 700-800 photos (give or take) most engagement sessions. Basically we take what we think are the best photos and color corrected them. We spend quite a bit of time carefully retouching each photo so the time adds up quick. Then we will mail you an engagement session DVD with all your high resolution photos including your color corrected photos. At the same time we will upload all the photos to a password protected site that will have all the photos as well. You are welcomed and encouraged to go through the photos and if there are any you feel you would love to have color corrected by us, feel free to email us the image number and we can touch up that photo free of charge.
