A few weeks ago we spent the afternoon with my sister, brother-in-law, and their newborn baby Dillon.  Dillon was pretty busy most of the afternoon.  He did fit us in to his schedule to get his photo taken somewhere in between getting held, changed, fed, napped, fed again, and then changed again.  He has a pretty good life.  Check out some of the photos:

Like most people in today’s world we had a hectic 2009.  From changing career’s to getting married, we didn’t get to take enough road trips and long weekends.  One of our biggest committments for 2010 is to take more weekend road trips to visit family.  We did get one good road trip in 2009 to Atlanta to see a really good friend get married.  We had an extra couple of days in Atlanta to check out the city.  We checked out the CNN Center, Midtown, Buckhead, and ate at a great restaurant called Ecco.  Highly recommend Ecco if you are planning to visit.  They had incredible cheeses, cured meats and a constantly rotating menu of seasonal type food.  On one of our walks around Midtown we stumbled across the Fox Theatre which had this killer old sign out front:

On a slightly overcast and quiet Sunday afternoon we recently took engagement photos of Elaine and Jason at Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park, FL.   We all thought this was going to be a really private spot because we photographed a wedding there a couple of years ago and it was pretty quiet.  I think we were all surprised when we were probably one of five or six photographers walking around taking photos.  Nevertheless it turned out to be a really cool afternoon hanging out with Elaine and Jason.  They were super easy to photograph and got comfortable with the camera almost immediately.  Looking forward to their wedding this April. 

Amanda is an aspiring actress going to school at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and needed to get a few headshots done before she headed back for the fall semester.  Yes, we are still getting caught up on blog posts from the summer.  It has been a crazy busy last three months for us and it definitely feels good to be catching up.  Check out a few of the headshots:
